The word Bohío comes from the Taíno people of the Caribbean and refers to a gathering place built with natural materials—a home where family, community, and celebrations came together.
At Bohio Vista Venue, we honor that spirit by creating a place where the beauty of the Sonoran Desert meets the warmth of Caribbean hospitality.
Bohio Vista: A gathering place with a view.
Bohio Vista is inspired by the spirit of the Caribbean and the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. The venue reflects the warmth, hospitality, and sense of community associated with island culture while embracing the breathtaking landscapes, open skies, and unforgettable sunsets that make Southern Arizona so special.
This blend of influences creates a setting that feels both inviting and distinctive, bringing together two worlds through celebration, connection, and shared experiences.
Every event at Bohio Vista is shaped by the belief that meaningful celebrations deserve a remarkable setting. From ceremonies overlooking the Sonoran Desert to receptions beneath colorful Arizona sunsets, the venue offers a natural flow between indoor and outdoor spaces that encourages guests to relax and enjoy the moment.
Combined with attentive support, flexible event options, and scenic surroundings, Bohio Vista creates an experience centered on connection, celebration, and memories that last long after the event has ended.
Bohio Vista was born from two cultures united by family and celebration.
Irma, a Sonora native, brings the beauty and traditions of the Southwest. Abner, born in Puerto Rico, brings the Caribbean spirit of hospitality inspired by the Taíno concept of the bohío—a place where people gather, connect, and celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.
Together, they created Bohio Vista: A fusion of desert beauty and island soul.
