The word Bohío comes from the Taíno people of the Caribbean and refers to a gathering place built with natural materials—a home where family, community, and celebrations came together.

Meet the Owners
Bohio Vista was born from two cultures united by family and celebration.
Irma, a Sonora native, brings the beauty and traditions of the Southwest. Abner, born in Puerto Rico, brings the Caribbean spirit of hospitality inspired by the Taíno concept of the bohío—a place where people gather, connect, and celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.
Together, they created Bohio Vista: A fusion of desert beauty and island soul.
