At Bohio Vista Venue, our policies are designed to create a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience while protecting the integrity of the venue and ensuring exceptional celebrations for every client and guest.

 

Reservation & Retainer Policy

• A non-refundable retainer is required to secure and reserve your event date.
• The standard retainer amount is $1,500, which will be applied toward the total balance due.
• Event dates are not considered confirmed or guaranteed until both the signed agreement and retainer payment have been received.
• Courtesy holds may be offered temporarily; however, all event dates are reserved on a first-paid, first-secured basis.

 

Payment Policy

• Payments made toward the event are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Additional services, upgrades, rentals, or guest count increases may result in adjustments to the final balance.
• Remaining balances are typically due 90 days prior to the event date.

 

Damage Deposit Policy

• A refundable damage deposit is required separately from the package total.
• The standard damage deposit amount is $500.
• Damage deposits are typically refunded within 48 hours after the event, following a post-event inspection.

 

Event Insurance Requirement

• Event liability insurance is required for all events hosted at the venue.
• Clients are responsible for obtaining coverage prior to the event date.
• Proof of insurance may be required before final event approval.

 

Alcohol & Bar Service Policy

• Clients are welcome to provide their own alcohol.
• All alcohol must be served by designated venue staff or approved bartending personnel.
• Certain packages may include ice and coolers, bar setup, soda and water service, beer and wine service, and Twin Bowl Frozen Margarita Machine options.
• Select packages offer an enhanced bar experience designed to elevate your celebration through professionally managed beverage service.

 

Outside Vendors Policy

• Clients may provide their own caterers, dessert vendors, DJs, florists, decorators, and entertainment vendors.
• Preferred vendor recommendations are available upon request.

 

Décor Policy

• Clients are welcome to bring their own décor and personal touches.
• All décor must be free-standing and non-damaging to the venue property.
• Glitter, confetti, nails, screws, staples, and damaging adhesives are strictly prohibited.

 

Setup & Cleanup Policy

• Event access times vary depending on the selected package.
• Clients and vendors must adhere to all scheduled setup and breakdown times.
• Personal items, rentals, and décor must be removed promptly at the conclusion of the event unless prior arrangements have been approved.

 

Guest Count & Capacity

• Standard full-event capacity accommodates up to 200 guests.
• Final guest counts are generally due 30 days prior to the event date.

 

Music & Entertainment Policy

• DJs, live bands, and personal playlists are welcome.
• Music volume must remain in compliance with venue guidelines and local ordinances.

 

Weather & Outdoor Event Policy

• Bohio Vista is designed as an indoor-outdoor venue experience.
• Climate-support features may include shaded gathering areas, evaporative coolers, ceiling fans, and Pyramid Patio Heaters.

 

Tours & Consultations Policy

• Private venue tours are available by appointment only.
• Initial consultations and venue tours are provided at no cost.

 

Tour & Booking Policy

• Pricing and availability are subject to change until an event is officially booked.
• Promotional pricing and limited-time offers may include expiration dates and may not be extended beyond the stated promotional period.
