This guide has been designed to help create a smooth, organized, and enjoyable experience for every couple, family, and guest while protecting the quality and integrity of Bohio Vista Venue.

 

Welcome & Purpose

• These guidelines help create a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience while protecting the venue and ensuring exceptional celebrations.

 

Reservation & Retainer Guidelines

• A $1,500 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve a date.
• Dates are not guaranteed until the agreement and retainer are received.

 

Payment Guidelines

• Remaining balances are due 90 days prior to the event date.

 

Damage Deposit Information

• A refundable $500 damage deposit is required.
• Damage deposits are typically refunded within 48 hours following inspection.

 

Event Insurance Requirement

• Event liability insurance is required for all private events.

 

Guest Count & Capacity Information

• Final guest counts are generally due 14 days prior. 
• Venue capacity accommodates up to 200 guests depending on layout.

 

Outside Vendors Information

• Clients may bring their own caterers, DJs, decorators, desserts, and entertainment providers.

 

Alcohol & Bar Service Information

• BYO alcohol is permitted.
• Alcohol must be served by designated staff. 
• Select packages offer an enhanced bar experience designed to elevate your celebration with professionally managed beverage service.

 

Décor Guidelines

• No glitter, confetti, nails, screws, staples, or damaging adhesives. 
• Décor must be free-standing and non-damaging.

 

Setup & Cleanup Guidelines

• Clients and vendors must follow scheduled setup and breakdown times.

 

Music & Entertainment Guidelines

• DJs, bands, and playlists are welcome and must comply with venue and local requirements.

 

Weather & Outdoor Event Information

• Climate-support features may include shaded areas, evaporative coolers, ceiling fans, and Pyramid Patio Heaters.

 

Bathrooms Information

• Three private lockable restrooms are available: Female, Male, and ADA-compliant.
• Bathrooms are stocked, cleaned before events, and serviced after events by Bohio Vista staff.

Privacy Guidelines

• Bohio Vista may use event photos for marketing unless clients opt out in writing. 
• Security cameras are present in main event spaces, excluding bathrooms.

Tours & Consultations Information

• Private tours and consultations are available by appointment at no cost.

 

Rescheduling/Cancellation Guidelines

• Rescheduling is permitted outside 60 days, subject to availability and pricing differences.
• Cancellations 90+ days prior may qualify for a partial refund excluding the retainer fee.
• No refunds are issued within 90 days of the scheduled event date.

Rates Information

• Rates lock at the time of booking. 
• Bohio Vista reserves the right to adjust rates for future unreserved dates.

• Availability and promotional pricing may change until officially booked.
